I've been listening lots to "Ithyphallic", the new album from the absurd yet genuinely great ancient-Egyptian themed death metal band Nile. It's really good, tho I'd recommend their previous album "Annihilation of the Wicked" as maybe a better starting point for new listeners?

I listen to all kinds of stuff, lately i've been doing some work on my computer, and have had youtube playing in the background all the time.

The theremin is one of the earliest fully electronic musical instruments. It was invented by Russian inventor Léon Theremin in 1919. While the theremin was not widely used in classical music performances, the instrument found great success as the 'eerie' background sound in countless motion pictures, notably, Spellbound, The Red House, The Lost Weekend, The Spiral Staircase, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Thing (From Another World), The Ten Commandments (the 1956 DeMille film), Ed Wood, and Mars Attacks!
