I have had a Quarz camera for a while without using it and intend to take it to some of the summer's music festivals as it requires no power and seems fairly rugged. I have heard that it is set for 50asa and was wondering how to shoot K40 succesfully with it? Also, as I don't have time to experiment with it in advance, does anyone have anyone have any other tips for using this in the (a) field?
Cheers & apologies if this is covered elsewhere (I have looked though!), if this is the case could someone point me in the right direction?
Regards
Tom

Set the auto to +1 for K40, making sure the filter is in place.
Set at wide aangle to avoid quick shots being out of focus.
Keep the shoots short, say 5 seconds with 10 seconds max.
Wind up after every shot.
Take a portable audio recorder for wild background sound
Check out the manual settings for a range of conditions. Or take a Selinium no battery light meter with you. Shutter is 1/30 for all practical purposes.
For telephoto settings use a monopod or tripod
Have Fun
DO NOT FORGET THAT IT IS NOT AUTOMATIC FOCUSSING
