That makes two of us today. I spent the afternoon at the B&O Railroad Museum with my Minolta 35mm SLR and Canon 1014XLS in hand.

It was sunny all afternoon, I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

It would be more fun if you would post some pics of all those babes that seem to flock towards your camera.

I have a hard enough time taking a picture of my girlfriend.

Sacratomato, California. Water was cool - best not to fall in. Nice day though...and LOVED shooting with the Elmo 3000 Autofocus camera. Talk about filming the way it was meant to be in super 8...home movies of course...or as I call them with these stocks: "talkies"

Off to walmart for processing in the AM -- film should be back by Sat....

I really love shooting film, with going to beautiful locations and having a great time getting shots, but sooner or later the reallities of sorting through it and editing it into something watchable creep in, and that's real work!

As a result I could probably edit what I have on hand for months!

I'm just planning ahead for my retirement days! Shoot now, edit later...and then wonder why the heck I didn't enjoy myself more IN THE DAY when I was instead shooting film! Haha...no wonder people just die - we get too depressed wondering why we wasted all this time capturing images in the first place...But it was a great day!

Today I shot a cart of 50D with my R10 under overcast Southern California skies. You're right, filming is just plain fun and it made for a great day!

Shot off two rolls of 200t in El Segundo CA, just south of LAX yesterday. Not even a forest is as peaceful as business parks on a Sunday. Well, excepting the police...

Hey idraw, I also have shot in quiet business parks on the week-end. Love the cool post-apocalyptic, Omega Man aesthetic and feel.

I just did some test stuff with my actor walking around in the quiet and desolation. CREEPY footage.

Didn't have any security/cop hassles though. Too bad--I also love tangling with the police. :twisted:

tell me about it!!!!! I have around 50 carts sit and wait next to the WorkPrinter and waiting for my "No-Sex" night to pick one or two from them.

last night I transfer 4 rolls and 1 need to re-transfer again. Plus the films I keep on shooting these days, I probably finish all the transfer at the end of next year... Then I may probably own a HD camcorder with HDMI port on my computer. Then I will have to transfer all of them in HD all over again. Goes on and on like this. I'm thinking I can never finish the editing job by the time I die... I may probably die in a couple of years right?

Funny you mention Omega Man... For my shoot, we went to downtown L.A. on a Sunday and filmed at the Department of Water and Power (or whatever that municipal building is across from the Dorothy Chandler) which is exactly where you see Chuck Heston in the Omega Man, running in his sweat suit, blabbering about the ground he's covered in mutant extermination...It's great to film in such a spot when there are no people. But as soon as we walked away, we saw two armed goons walking to where we had shot some film, examining the area very carefully...
