David,

What address did you use? I used the Beltsville Md. address for two in mid-August and they showed up yesterday unprocessed from Kodak in Dallas with "We cannot process old or incompatible films".

So now for the sake their right hand not knowing what the left is doing, I have to go to Dwayne's (cheaper than air-mail to Switzerland!)

Of course if they'd saent them back to me in a week instead of a month, it would have been cheap enough to send them....

That is the date they are doing the final processing run...film has to be in by the 25th.

Just realised I have a half used K40 cart somewhere...hoping to post it later today.

Mattias, I thought Erica Piguet moved to another part of Kodak?

Please contact ch-kodachrome@kodak.com. I have left the company. Thank you. My colleagues will help you.
The new contact now is mrs Maria Razakarivony which gave me the answer I quoted. I just wrote again to be sure for reg-8 k40 dead-line

anyway, i sent my last batch with express airmail yesterday so they'll have it on monday.

I had this e-mail today:
ch-kodachrome@kodak.com wrote:[...]if you have Regular 8 films, they will be processes until the end of the year, like the 16mm films.
Hope this information will be relevant to you.

I had the same problem. I mean the feeling that I'm just wasting my last two k40. Finally the bad weather had changed and I shooted probably very good family pictures. On the other hand I've just sent it today via express air mail. Maybe it is too late. Who knows?...

Good news for reg 8 and DS8 users!

I still have two or three outdated reg 8mm rolls...
