I've got canon 1014xl-s..

And I'd like to get one more camera which is more portable and lightweight.

For a less expensive alternative, you might want to check out a Sankyo CME 1100. It does 18,24,36 and 54fps. Has a good 6.5 to 65mm macro lens. Has a terrific Hi-Focus feature unique among S-8mm cameras making it very easy to focus the lens. Runs on 4 AA batteries - doesn't need a separate battery for auto exposure. Manual exposure, etc. etc. Sankyo cameras usually always work. Overall a good value and a solid camera, great as a backup for your nice Canon.

Lightweight and easy to use. Canon AF 310XL
Autofocus, XL lens. 3 AA.
But no 54 fps
Kind regards,

You might want to look into a Minolta XL401 or XL601.
Unfortunately no slo-mo, but very inexpensive, small, lightweight, decent quality, XL shutter, macro, intervalometer.

the original canon 310XL is also easy to find and inexpensive.
