Q: Interval frame shot with sunrise or sunset..

Post by YOSUKE »

If I take a interval single frame shot (I mean.. sunrise or sunset shot...)

Can I get a proper measuer with Internal light meter?

Or if I use external light meter.

and if I want to get a little bit underexposed interval single frame sunset or sunrise shot ..(kodak tri-x)

How is it to measure sky(a little bit far from the sun) to be 2/3 stop underexposed and do not care about the light of the sun.

Thanks..

Best you determine exposure values and set these as fixed. For darkening effect you better no compensate otherwise nothing eventful will happen (on film).

Overexposing a bit gives better results with these kind of subjects...
Kind regards,
