It looks like Sean Martin's clip was filmed in my neck o' the woods at closing time! How cool!

Since the green line is in the QT movie file (rather than being part of the web page), can't you just crop it out via QT Pro?

Actually, it looks as though it was filmed in MY neck of the woods at Carnival time...

I know I'm going to get flayed for this, but what's the goal of this film? Pulse of Life succeeded because it included organic and varied timelapse work. Baraka succeeded because it managed to capture a beautiful world and touch people emotionally.

I'm slightly confused about what will be achieved with a series of disconnected Super 8 shots.

Yes, they'll look somewhat vintage and were all captured using an old school technique. Yes, they were shot on different continents. But what will make 1,000,000 people want to download it from YouTube or tell their friends about it?

I'm looking forward to getting the answer from the finished film.

I can't really imagine a million people downloading it from YouTube. But I think the appeal of the film is curiosity, films by different people from all over the world about the places they know best. And the format plays a role, since the DVD will be a filmmakers toolbox with info on all the stocks, camera, lenses, transfer houses etc. used ...format fetish? ... perhaps

Appeals to me as a concept, as it did to all the filmmakers keen to take part. We'll see if it succeeds in capturing the audience's imagination.
