Ebay fraudster at it again.......

Post by Rob »

Some of you will remember the remarkable DV camera available from China a week or two ago. The 'seller' is at it again.....

I particularly like the claim in his feedback that he is "very hot liver".

Watch out for those guys in China who seems nothing to do the whole day buth copy adds from other Ebayers! Don't ever fall for these add's. Do u really think they have all these stuff? Just ask them for the serial number of the camera...and then in the next mail for a photo of the camera wich clearly shows the serial number. Then suddenly it comes really quiet from those guys..

The price isn't so terrible but clearly the feedback is fake. Avoid that like the plague.

Euh, report it to ebay to prevent any loss for an unknown ebay-er?
Kind regards,

Ya know...If someone is dumb enough to bid and win then who cares?? They didn't do their homework and it is pretty obvious that the items is part of a scam.

In fact there have been four to six suspect Aaton's on eBay this week.

A sucker is born every minute.

A sucker is born every minute
The entire quote is "There's a sucker born every minute...and two to take 'em." The source of the quote is most likely famous con-man Joseph ("Paper Collar" Joe) Bessimer. Barnum's fellow circus owner and arch-rival Adam Forepaugh attributed the quote to Barnum in a newspaper interview in an attempt to discredit him. However, Barnum never denied making the quote. It is said that he thanked Forepaugh for the free publicity he had given him.

Beware with this scamers, there are a lot of cameras that are scams. You can see a lot of Aaton XTR to 200$ 8O
If you see feedback´s seller you can see all the possitive bids by buyers with 0 (cero) feedback

dear ebay moderators, please block this scams

How about how all of the positive feedback coming from people who all happen to live in China, all but one of whom have been yanked off of eBay, and all of whom have obviously computer-generated names?

And let's not even point out how all of them seem to have posted their feedback within minutes of each other.

eBay is a giant yard sale. At least that is how I have always viewed it. If you really think that it is a store where the person is somewhat accountable then maybe you really are a sucker.

That is not to say that all eBay sellers are crooks or that real shops don't use eBay. It is simply to say that why would a to good to be true deal be real because of eBay??

So if you throw your money away it is your own fault.

Think before you buy.

So where it all comes down to...If u find the bargain of your life on Ebay think to yourselve...why would anyone try to sell it and especially for such a low prise? And if it comes from country's like China and Philippines and stuff u have to leave it like it is.

Check the history of someone and especially previeus sales or buyings. If he buys or sells coffeemugs howcome he is suddenly selling an Arriflex SR 3 for 150 dollars(with buy now)...And only buy with Paypall...

Another fine art is that they somehow find your email adres and starting bombing u with mails when u did a bid on something saying they have the exact same product for sale...or say that u are the second change winner...Just delete those mails...They are all scams!

I have some sympathy with the person who says that you get what you deserve if you bid on one of these items...

But threads like this help to notify people of the types of scams out there.

The same old rule always applies with eBay...check the feedback of the seller.
