KODAK PROPERGANDA

Post by PHILIE-T »

Ive noticed, everytime someone mentions Kodak, John pops his head up with a link to a chart of something off Kodaks website saying how good they are.

So John, if Kodak is so good tell me this.

Why havn't they released a Poloroid film camera (24fps).

cheers

Most likely because Polaroid started law suits against anyone creating an "instant" cameras/film/whatever. Hence Kodak and Fuji (Agfa, too?) had to withdraw their still-photography-products from the markets - and stopped thinking about "instant" movie-cameras.
This space was left intenionally blank.

Well don't you think Kodak should start thinking about INSTANT movie cameras.

Just a thought but how amazing would that be. Forward this on to R&D at Kodak.. But just imagine it! a camera with a bath and printer built in. AND DONT U DARE SAY ITS NOT POSSIBLE.

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Kodak Camcorders

Post by John_Pytlak »

Kodak had one of the first 8mm VIDEO camcorders on the market, a great improvement over the VHS camcorders of the day:

I remembered Polaroid sued Kodak for patent infringement after they came out with an instant stills camera, and thats why you don't see any instant film products available from Kodak.

Wonder if Fuji paid Polaroid for producing their instant film products.

Yes, it is possible. That doesn't mean it's good, or useful, or appealing.

Polaroid (you know, the people who make Polaroid film and cameras) made the Polavision instant movie camera.

John, i assume you are clocked on. Please tell me what happened to Kodak's Techincal services department. On day they were engaged in furious debates relating to all manor of chemical processess. The next day they are posting extremely scary imagery on a message board for children. Now John, you may find it cute and clever. I on the other hand am amazed Kodaks top staff have so much time on their hands. I could never imagine Fuji Film havng staff members posting pictures of monsters.

Maybe Im getting old. Or maybe Kodak have gone stark, raving...mad. Let us all hope it's a one off.
