The reason no-one's bid on this is probably because it's being advertised as a "retro camcorder" with no mention of Super 8, cine or movie!

Someone could get a real bargain here! (and no, I am not the seller nor do I know the seller- just seems a shame to let something like this go to waste.)

I really don't need it...but yes, someone will snap up a bargain hopefully.

For first class mail yes they are that high. Its $25 equivalent for domestic postage, so that is the correct rate.

Seems a shame to let it go. 11 minutes left.

Howdy,

I'd like to thank Mogzy for pointing this camera out. I was on the lookout for another cheap camera and this was perfect 0.99p + £12p&p (yes it was me that purchased it :) ).

Thank you for making my day.

Actually I've never charged that much postage, even to the USA for a camera...I would have reckoned on half that for international air mail. And I speak as one who's spent literally thousands on international air mail.

I'd have bought it if my wife wouldn't have killed me! She reckons I have enough cameras.....

My pleasure, glad I could help. :D

On the postage costs, it is a sound camera so it could be quite heavy. Also some sellers charge to cover the packaging too- bubble wrap can be very expensive. Personally though, whenever I've sold stuff on ebay I would re-use packaging so as not to have to do this.

Not carrying on with Super 8 after all then?

Let me guess.. it doesn't do 64T, right? Why didn't these manufacturers just leave their original metering systems in the design? Sigh. Don't give up on Super 8! Think how enjoyable and satisfying it can be!
