What are the effects using the mostly built in Wratten (85A) filter on b/w S8 film? Is there any effect on contrast, tonality or sensivity?
Using reloadable S8 cartridges in western S8 cameras, I have to modify the sensivity notch of the cartridge. I would like to know how to calculate this filter (if there is an positive effect for the film) or shall I simply disable the Wratten filter when working b/w.
Thanks for your advices.

Effects Wratten filter on b/w film
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately Kodak does not say a word on the effects using this filter with b/w film. As I process my films in home laboratory I can not determine the effects using this filter on b/w. Maybe because of the inaccuracy of my processes.
Has anybody used the Wratten filter with Kodak b/w films? What is the result?
