anybody else have any updates/photos? With 6 carts floating around out there, it doesn't seem like we've heard all that much from many people. Maybe I'm just too anxious....but you know, as the "topic starter", I have to monitor this discussion.

My 5 carts of K40 are already on their way back to me....Dwayne's is wicked fast!

Yes, the cart is in Budapest but not for a long time, because this day we had a sunny weather and I had time for shooting! :lol:
So, thank you for your patience. Good news for Mik and Strange Love that they will have a little more seconds for shooting, more than 30 seconds, I think.

So I'm going to send the cart to Mik on Monday, to Warsaw.
30 seconds is not too much but this time it was enough to do it. I shooted (with 18 speed) my part of the film in a garden, called Philosopher's garden where you can find the statues of most important religion founders (Jezus, Abraham, Ehnaton etc.) and this is my favourite place to think and relax too.

Well, here, just like in Italy, it is election time, so I just try to find out which party is better, tomorrow we are going to vote... :-k

I got cart #5 on Friday and shot on Saturday to send off to Joe Gioielli as soon as I learn his address.

Location: Gen. George Washington's plantation home - Mount Vernon, Virginia. Unfortunately, a non-optimal shoot; cold, grey, and rainy. My on-screen talent (daughter Charlotte, age 9) was chilled and not very cooperative, but fortunately I only had 10 feet of film to shoot, so she obliged, grudgingly. Today would have been much better, as it's sunny and warmer, but Charlotte & mom have gone to Minnesota this morning for spring break, so I filmed when I could. I loaded & unloaded in a black bag & had girl+grey card in first frames. Documentation last few frames. No fades, but shot for fadeup/down in post.

I used the Bauer S715XL, which should yield a good result as the clouds were heavy and outdoor illumination was low - about F/2.8 at 18fps. While we lined up and shot the front porch angles, about fifty high school kids stood on the other side of the barrier, gawking. Free Super 8 advertisement!

Sounds very neat. Cant wait to see the scene!!!

This is shaping up to be a very diverse project. I love Mojohey's 10 feet rule but I couldnt tell my story in ten feet so I shot about 7.5. Im hoping my photography will save me..... :lol:

well, all my shirts are dirty and I didn't really feel like doing laundry....I figured if I needed to wait a couple more days, without changing my current shirt, for the PTC shirts I would....but it sounds like I'll have to do my laundry after all.

i am kidding, of course....but what's that smell?

Judy just emailed me back. The shirts will be done in a few days so I guess we will have them next week............so you better turn those shirts inside out and put a clothspin on your nose.@!!

Everybody that ordered shirts better let me know their shipping addresses so I can get the total cost figgered. PM me. It would be nice to disburse the shirts when they come in so we can all enjoy them.

Well, we're on the down hill side of the run now to finish shooting. Im heading south for a few days but Ill check in late tonight hopefully.
