Ralphs/Dwayne's does not develop E64T

Post by Aseesl8er »

Hi everyone,

I've been away from the forum for a bit but I don't know if this has already been discussed. I just got my E64T film back from Ralphs (sent to Dwayne's) and it wasn't processed. There was a note stating that the development for Ektachrome movie film is not available. My K40 (sent at the same time as E64T) came back developed after a week though which is still a relief. The film was probably old but I exposed it 2 weeks ago just for shitz and giggles. Don't have a projector to project it but it looks like the film is very light and purple. But I can see the images when shining it into a light. This is my first roll of super8 film that I just shot. Shot it with a Canon 1014-XLS. Is the film suppose to look like that? Or do I need to project it in order to see the quality. The film was probably old. I got it unopened with a camera I bought off of ebay.

Anyway, back to E64T. Do you guys know of any other economical labs that can develop the film below 14 bucks a roll? Yale is near me but they're expensive. Thanks.

When looked at through light the image should look to have natural, or close to natural colours.

Old film that has begun to go off becomes more and more pink (in the case of K40).
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

Send it to Dwayne's directly. Ralph's must not have a contract for E-6 processing yet.

Is there a company that has a contract for discounted 64T processing with Dwaynes?
