Beaulieu MR8 regular8 camera questions

Post by mediumformatphoto »

Just bought a really nice Beaulieu MR8 regular 8mm from a person in France. Camera looks to be in excellent condition, and it has the desirable Angenieux variable zoom lens.

Does anyone know if the lens mount is bayonet or threaded? I was wondering if it's possible to use the Angenieux lens on Bolex H8 as well?

Thanks,
R.J.

lucky you, it's *the* camera I'd like!
Should be a d-mount, like the little bolex c-8, b-8, d-8
here's the manual:
http://www.marriottcameras.co.uk/instru ... ctures.htm
where it is said that it is a c-mount, but I think it's a mistake...
