Still a very high price.
No matter if it is serviced or not.
Maybe that is why you have 0 bids?

High price? What the fcuk? No, its is brand spanking new...come on now. It is priced fairly and for those who wish to avoid a 60 day build period you can have this one... It's not like the GAF projectors are coming off of a Chinese assembly line last week...they were all made in Japan in the good ol days (the 1970's)!
I think we need to start awarding names: "cranky pants" seems to fit.

Not really. Every workprinter on ebay has sold for more than our asking price. This is because 99% of our units are being used by successful businesses that have no intention of parting with their money making WorkPrinter. Therefore, they hold their value very well because they show up on the used market very rarely. Time is money and if people don't have to stand in line and wait 60 days, then they can start making money quicker.Uppsala BildTeknik wrote:Still a very high price.

Oh, you know better than that. There are no bids now because everyone waits until the last hour to do anything.Uppsala BildTeknik wrote:Maybe that is why you have 0 bids?
Roger
Some 'Sniper' will get a 'Workprinter' before it's over. Bet someones itchy fingers are on those keyboards before the auction is over trying to squeeze in a bid in the last seconds.
Any bets on where the sniping will end. I'm guessing $500 more than the first bid, when it's actually placed. Maybe start a betting pool on what it will actually sell for this auction.

It's funny how the EBay mind thinks though. I have seen things with a "high" starting price go with no bids and then when relisted with a $1 start they end up going for way over the original amount. I think there are a lot of folks who just cant bid $1300 for a first bid but would easily fall into the frenzy and bid well above that point.

People look for a bargain, and then decide they gotta have it anyway even after the bargain has passed.SoCal Chris wrote:It's funny how the EBay mind thinks though. Exactly. I thought it would have been better to start with a low price, but maybe WP´s are special? I don´t know.I have seen things with a "high" starting price go with no bids and then when relisted with a $1 start they end up going for way over the original amount.

The auction hasn't been cancelled. Did you click on the link to the old XP auction by mistake? The new one is a 1CCD sniper.Davideo wrote:Noticed the auction was cancelled by eBay.
Anyway, I can't imagine ever parting with my Workprinter XP. It's so crucial to my business here and has made me increase my Super 8 filmmaking efforts in recent days.
