I just bought the Canon 514xl camera and I have a question:
How do you guys get your film cartridges and how much do they cost?
I've heard that Kodak supplies are running out. And whats with Fomapan? Do they still produce the Super8 tapes?
thanks for help....

Check out the links from this site. If there is no where in Poland Germany is probably your best bet.
Kodak still make the film, new, three colour, two B & W, just check their site out.
Locally you might be able to get the old russian reloadable cartridges, developing tank and film splitter. Then get some double super 8, split it and load your own. I intend to try this myself as I now have everything except the film.

You can get FOMAPAN R 100 b/w reversal cine film in double super-8, they still produce and sell this film in Cech republik. I buy it regulary at a Chech photo shop - one roll (2x10m) costs abt. CZK 190,00 in May 2002. Development is not included, I do it myself with russian Lomo tank. Reloadable S8 cartridges are not produced anymore but there may be some on stock in eastern countries photo shops. I got 4 pcs. from a friend and they work fine in combination with Fomapan DS8.

Andec in Berlin is also a supplier of Kodak films:
http://www.andecfilm.de/index.htm
They sell the Kodak S8 films but the K40 reversal colour are not listed so you may have to ask them for it.
