The image quality will suffer much more by digital compression itself, and the difference between shooting and projection at 18fps to doing both at 24fps is still more noticeable than slowing 24fps down to 18fps in NLE.etimh wrote:But won't this mess with the image if your framerate has to be "taken care of" (either by speeding up or slowing down)? Why not just decide uniformly before we get too far down the line?tlatosmd wrote:I'd suppose since we'll get it telecined, Mojo could take care about each participant's framerate in NLE.

he will be so glad to hear that! But, a lot of congratulation to Lorenzo for tha pics, and nobody says anything for my acrobatical cycling ;-)? I almost broke my nose one second after that pic was taken!flatwood wrote: but Lorenzo did a super job. Interesting how fast that shadow moved across your scene.
Milano - Piazza Affari (Business' Square). The building is the stock exchange. Very "milanese" indeed, a masterpiece of absolute simmetry, probably they wanted to do even better than the Agra Taj Mahal...flatwood wrote:Nice location too.
mmmh. Not shure to understand what you are talking about ;-). Anyway: first pic was taken about one hour before the second, I'm not shure it was the same shadowsooper8fan wrote:flatwood wrote:might be further down the way....not the grate in the street....ahhhhhInteresting how fast that shadow moved across your scene.

I remember thinking as I learned it was you doing the bicycle stunt that you must be very atheletic. I dont think I could have done that even when I was much younger.livio wrote:.....and nobody says anything for my acrobatical cycling ;-)?
Anyway, you inspired me and I appreciate that.
All the best,

Did your scene have something to do with your city? Correct me if I'm wrong, everybody, but I thought mojohey's idea for "Pass The Cart" was for us to use our 10feet to shoot something that showed the city in which we live.sooper8fan wrote:so, were you shooting this footage for the "Pass The Cart" project or are these photos from another unrelated project?

Sure it has. In fact, if probably the most famous monument in Milano is Duomo (the cathedral), I'd would say that the more milanese place in the city is the stock exchange, since anything here seems running around money, even though not anybody here would recognize that building.sooper8fan wrote: Did your scene have something to do with your city? So I followed mojohey's idea, but I think it was just an idea (correct me mojohey if I'm wrong) and anyone should shoot what she/he likes more.
The Duomo is one of the masterpieces of Gothic cathedral architecture. And as livio says, it is one of the most important and well-known monuments in Milano.livio wrote:Sure it has. Milano is a cool modern city in many respects. But nothing beats an afternoon sitting around the beautiful Piazza del Duomo and gazing up at the amazing cathedral.
Definitely the image that comes to mind immediately whenever I think of Milano. 8)

Your correct... just a loose idea... its more important that folk have fun with K40. As long as everyone makes the effort.livio wrote: So I followed mojohey's idea, but I think it was just an idea (correct me mojohey if I'm wrong) and anyone should shoot what she/he likes more.
