we used an arri sr1 with a zeiss 10-100 zoom. a couple of the scenes were shot in available light at a live gig and thus turned out underexposed. within correctable limits but it increased the grain as well as possibly the electronic noise from the scanner. the non grainy "live" parts were staged later. the close ups of the couple dancing was shot on expired vision 200t, thus the muddy blacks. we tried crushing them but it didn't match the rest.
thanks for you praise and comments. as for whether you've seen some of it before, it's all stolen from various sources. that was the concept we sold to the label.

Re: music video featuring footage from pulse of life
Hi Jukka, time do fly. I think if you check it was time lapse 2003 that became Pulse of Life.jukkasil wrote:Even I took apart for this great film project previously called "time lapse 2004" and then "Pulse of Life", I haven't had any idea, that one day my footage will be one part of swedish "humppa"-music video!

Ive now got Broadband so Ive finally been able to view this clip. Very good work! Skillful cinematography and editing - effective and well balanced mix of long shots, mid shots and close ups and what looked like a well executed tracking shot across the stage. Beautiful lighting too - I liked the soft touches of red and blue light on the performers. Atmospheric. Very reminiscent of the video clips of the 1980s. I enjoyed the song too.
