we should put our identification first, before we shoot our segment, correct? And what should it be? For example, would it be like this?:

Maybe add your city/town also, but most of the info (cam, fps etc) will be on the log sheet.
I'm hoping that after telecine it could go to Digibeta and i could use the Avid at work and along with some music from Flatwood...
But remember this is not just my project its everybodies... so there might be 2 versions... digitised cart footage as it was shot made available for everyone at the end... and one chopped up with titles and music... but still keeping to the order at which the carts were shot.
I guess even further down the road everyone can mess about and make their own version!! thinking out loud again.
But saying that... maybe the "premier screening" should be the finished version first...
 and maybe  May 8th  is a good date to aim for (wasn't that the day K40's death was announced?)

mmmm!

I assumed I would identify the city I was in, perhaps myself, and that it would be part of the film. I'd gladly leave myself out and just identify the city. I think it would be of interest to the viewers and is part of the story.

Just as long as we have the information available to use as participants, I dont care if its on screen or in some notes that we each have access to. Since the film stock, the processing and telecine are constants the variables are camera, location, lighting and shooter. I loved being part of Pulse of Life but in viewing it I would wonder who the shooter was and where.

And thanks mojohey for sponsoring this shoot. I will send you a selection of music when its time if you will let me know where to send it.

That sounds great!

ALSO.. What I'm going to do is get the info of the clip in log sheet and capture it few frames only.. that's save a couple of seconds for more filming.

If really necessary, one could use one frame for the title, then extend it in post.

Like the idea of it going to digibeta.

This will be superb.

Would there be any possibility of submitting the finished result for festivals?

So.... where are the carts presently?

Just curious.......

Maybe I'll put arrows/dots on a world map to show their trip.

The carts were posted last week... but i have only heard from Onsuper 8 in Manchester (cart 6) who shot his 10ft at the weekend... he will be posting to Matt5791 in Birmingham.
The first stop offs are...

cart 1 is in USA
cart 2 in Italy
cart 3 in Australia
cart 4 in Canada
cart 5 in Canada

I hope to hear over the next couple of days that the carts are arriving ok.
