Hey,
As you now know the limit is 30 seconds of film each, this is on the assumption that a cart is 2’ 30’’ long. The theme is what is beautiful… it can be anything… make it nice, remember its K40 in the camera, your town/city/country.
Included is a Log Sheet for all information about your 30 seconds, what speed you shot at and camera used, add anything you like. If you are interested in trying a dissolve or fade, then highlight in your notes that you loaded and removed the cart in total darkness so the next owner can try to fade up.
I know we are all busy busy people with chaotic stressful lifestyles… but let’s try and keep the cart moving, got to get it processed sooner rather than later to keep it nice and fresh.
All that’s left to say is good luck… put your best K40 images onto your 30 seconds…
Once its gone… its gone for good.
Keep in touch with your progress, once you receive a cart PM or Email me and I will send you the address of who’s next on the list.

This idea sounds fantastic. I hope it all goes well. If there is a need, I will gladly offer up web hosting of the file on my website.
Also, I could compress the final transfer into 2 or 3 different resalutions so that everyone can see it.
I'm thinking....
15 meg for those with slow connections
50 meg for those with fast connections
150 meg for those who wish to download and burn to DVD.
Can't wait to see this!!

Yeah. I was assuming I had 10 feet. Period. Though it would be nice to know if the plan is to project at 18 or 24. Just curious. It won't affect what I do as I am probably going to shoot shutterless at 12 fps since that is my current obsession.vidwerk wrote:Just adding a small note.
It's 30 seconds per person based on the fact that we shoot and project at 24fps. 18fps is different. It may be best to give people a footage counter limit instead of time. 10ft is easy to record on ones camera footage indicator.

30 seconds of film assuming its 24fps (yes 10ft)... that includes your ident... i know i said the ident could be 3 secs max... but it only really has to be few frames.
