How's 64T working out for you?

Post by JCook »

I remember reading all the this vs that threads that came out months back and then everything here seems to have gone quiet.

Now that some of you have a bit of day to day experience with 64T what observations can you share about projection results with this new stock? Grain, resolution color latitude etc, I'd be curious to hear if your satisfied with 64Ts projection properties. I shoot to project, 40 was always my choice of stock before when compared to E160 and VNF but sooner or later my freezer will dry up and at that time I'll have a decision to make (64T via my ELMO GS1200 or jump ship to HDV to feed my NEC1352 CRT front projector.) I love the look of projected film, does 64T have good projectable properties?

I've shot 2 batches so far and both came out really nice. the first was in overcast and some grain present, but better colors and detail than K40. the second was in sunny weather and the grain tightened up real nice.
100D and Vision 3 please

I am waiting for the Spring before I buy some. But it should look great.

Good Luck

Haven't shot any yet.

People here in Portugal are asking 16 euros for one cartridge of 64T, isn't that too much?
