custom brackets for large lens attachments.

Post by tristar »

hello all, well i purchased an iscorama 54 lens. im excited to use it asap but this thing is huge. i knew it was large but i didnt think it was so heavy as well. anyways, im definitely going to need to make a customized bracket or something to keep it sturdy and support it on my camera. i was seeing some thing where there were polls connected to the tripod that helped to keep the lens aligned and sturdy but i am not entirely sure what they are or where i could get my hands on some. if anyone has had any experience with customizing brackets or tweaking out their tripod for lens attachments and can help me out that would be pretty great. thanks.

At Porter's they have a long lens support that might work:
