Jürgen, why dont you update the title each time you are updating the subscriber figure like:
Small format mag now needs another 158 subscriptions to survive
Gruß
..tnx for reminding me Michael Lehnert.... or Santo or.... cinematography.com super8 - the forum of Rednex, Wannabees and Pretenders...

LOL, I have asked a people a few times to do this with no luck, good job S-8 Booster, and Juergen for not taking it as a personal criticism as I think others have in the past when I suggested they modify a topic title as the content of the topic evolved and no longer was correctly represented by the existing topic title.

Too bad there is no way to show the 200 actually crossed out (with a line through it) and then put the new lower number in right after.

still 155 - now the difficult time will start, I think... because it takes longer and longer to get the next subscriptions.

I've just signed up - and we've run a story on the front page of http://www.onsuper8.org for our worldwide visitors who might not frequent these hallowed halls.

Tremendously awesome.

Does it help to add in the word 16mm into your description, or is it irrelevant because it's a super-8 website?

What about film schools, art centers, camera stores. There is valuable info in there that should get to people that would be intereted but have not a clue about where S-8 is now. try this place http://www.bluemooncamera.com/index.php ... &thisimg=7

meanwhile, I'll sign up, the first issue was great.
100D and Vision 3 please

If you send me a cover page or a ad I'll post it at the Pittsburgh Film Makers. Is there a printable ad on line? I can print THAT and post it.

BTW, How DO I subscribe from the USA???

a little steep?

Post by edgebsl »

Ok, I'm probably going to get a lot of boos here.
But does anyone else think the price is pretty steep?

I mean its not uncommon to see an overseas magazine priced at $12.99 but most companies will give you a break for a subscription.Like 25 percent or more.

80 bucks for 6 issues just seems like a lot of cash for a magazine.
Even if it is something as unique as this.

Why it's "steep".

Lots of color pictures. Probably over a hundred color pictures.
Original stories as well.
