My New Avatar

Post by Cineworks »

I noticed that S8M changed his avatar so I thought I'd put one up for myself.

I made the pilgrimage last summer and grabbed this shot with my point and shoot.

Any guesses?

Avatars are sort of like perfumes...Chanel No. 5 is tops but every so often you feel like a the urge to change. As Shania Twain said, or was it Mark Twain, "Man, I feel like a woman!"

When I cross my eyes, I see three.

well obviously, but one is supposed to be in 3d and the other two barely visible. some people have a hard time seeing 3d like that but it's never been a problem for me and neither has the parallell kind so i can't really explain it. just relax?

Choose the "slide show" option to simulate a very slow moving film.

Fantastic. I always wanted to visit Uzbekistan and the other former Soviet satellites in the area. Now that you mention it the picture does resemble Eisenstein, but I wouldn't have figured it out without a suggestion.

Thanks S8M,

Glad you enjoyed the photos.

I'm out of Los Angeles (Sunny and a chilly 70 here today).

BTW, Where do you sail out of?

A friend from work takes me out in SF Bay (Sausalito). When my kids get older, I'll get a sailboat for the family...saw a nice Dufour in Santa Cruz...
