A fundraising idea. Have a mini garage sale, clears up clutter and you raise a bit of cash as well.

How would you know whether Jürgen might have a garage he'd like to sell Alex? ;)

Anyway, on a rather serious note it looks like you'd rather stop, erm...doing business advising.

Just sent my address :)

Where are you up to now?

Have you tried colleges and universities running film courses? The recent sucess at Cannes of a Super8 film by a UK based film maker should be a good selling point, aswell as the wide spread of information on filmaking.

info on Kodak's website about the Cannes film

Um, why are you bringing Juergen's name up, my post wasn't addressing Juergen at all.

Are we at the point where one little quote gets completely misunderstood and misrepresented?

And back on planet Earth, a Kodak rep said they would be interested in advertising in Small Format.

I won't bother to put in the well deserved expletive toward those who have earned it.

I think he was just trying to point out that we should focus on helping Juergen find 183 more subscriptions to ensure that the publishing company continues with this project. Anything else is a waste of breath at this point.

My post was directed towards a member who said they couldn't afford to subscribe, it wasn't a demand, it wasn't making light of why they couldn't afford a subscription, it was just a simple suggestion on how to raise a small amount of money, nothing more, nothing less.

Sorry, in that sentence I was too focussed on making that joke so I didn't spend enough attention.

I was only referring to this small format affair, though. The reason I said it was because Jürgen seems to be very bothered already. Not holding you back on your brilliant advise when it doesn't irate business owners/runners personally. ;)

Man, you guys crack me up. Thanks for the daily funnies and hijinks. Almost as much fun as watching the dogs in the schoolyard get it on...almost I said!

Ahem, round five.

Would a Kodak ad help reduce the number of subscriptions needed?

Thanks for the subscriptions of the last days. I have to admit we need 169 more...

Alex, Kodak's highest representatives were not willing to give an ad in no. 1.

Juergen, is there an advertisement of the magazine that I can get hold of online? I might put up a printed out copy on the notice board near where the film studies classes are held at the local university.

Because of the great help of the members of this forum only 158 subscriptions are missing now. Keep on subscribing and may be there is a chance to convince the publisher to go on with small format.
