I bought "Young and Jaded" when it was released in the USA back in 96(I think). He really is a great singer and an even better songwriter. One of the over looked guys of the last 10 years. Yanks just don't hear enough music from across the seas and Oz produces some great talent.

Totally bored...I am supposed to have a shoot next weekend but I don't see how they can pull it off. Hopefully, it will get pushed back so that I can get out of town for a weekend and relax.

Oh well, I'll go with Lou Reed. I bought "Magic and Loss" several years ago. I never really go it. Then some people who were close to me died. Dude was right on.

But Zevon, even as a cancer ridden corpse, could beat the hell out of Reed or Bowie.

Now if he took on the car crashed corpse of Marc Bolan, we all know who would win, the international viewing public.

I vote for Iggy, but that assumes we are talking about the Stooges albums. Otherwise I may have to change my vote to Bowie.

Of the given options it is Bowie. He was on my cassette recorder when I was ten, on my record player when I was 18 and on my cd player when I was 25. I suppose he will be on my MP3 player if I choose to buy one.

But I would have voted for the cure if they where up there as all timers.

And I am currently jumping about to the new compilation from the young gods.

I will go and see funkstÃƒÂ¶rung on loppen tommorow.

Well, after much thought I threw my vote to Lou Reed. It was due to the fact that "Street Hassle" inspired my film "Meditations on rural life while walking down a dirt road somewhere in Montana." Which now sits on my shelf gathering dust...

no, but even harder is to make music for the masses or violator, which are easily the best ones imo. black celebration had the biggest influence on me, but i was at a sensitive age. :-)

Come on. The Beatles were maybe the first ones to bring pop music into a mass audience, but they did not foresee the thirty years of evolution in technology and song writing that was to follow.

Music for the masses is an superb album (and it is recorded at a studio near where I used to play as a kid - those cornfields are my childhood).

I am really looking forward to the european tour in february. DM in parken last during exciter tour is on my top three concert list. I guess that mattias is going to see them at globen?
