minidisc sound

Hi
a quick question to anyone who knows.
If I was to record sound on my portable minidisc how then am I best getting that sound onto my computer with the least amount of loss of quality?

Many computers these days have a stock Audio in port. Most often an 1/8 inch Mini. I have used my MiniDisc and found that when I was recording without switching it to Mono I got some really bad buzz. Record Mono and then just import it as you would perhaps record your voice via the computer mic.
