anamorphic lens nizo s800
anamorphic lens nizo s800
hello, i have a few rolls of 200t film and i want to shoot in widescreen using my nizo s800 but im not too sure on what set up i should go about to get the best results. i dont want to pay too much money for different anamorphic lenses but from what ive been researching, the kowa h-16 lens seems to be the most popular for this nizo model. but i still am not sure on how i would go about getting all the necessary attachments. i have not seen results from the lens being used either i.e. mpegs, images, etc of footage shot using that lens. i like widescreen a lot and i would love to be able to shoot it with super 8. this is also going to be rank transferred for an independent project im working on for a dvd. so i dont want the footage to come out bad. oh also, the certain shots involved using the widescreen are shots that require me to be far away actually. the idea is that i want to be far away on one shot, then a close up of the same subject from the same position the camera is for the other shot. so i would have to be zooming in having to either keep the anamorphic lens on and focusing that way (which i hear is much harder) or take it off and then focus without the lens then putting it. im hoping there wont be too much resolution loss or vignetting etc. anyways, any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
