Super16 beam splitter

Any idea anyone, where I can get a beam splitter big enough to cover suer16 converted K3 gate?

I'm about to succeed in changing my K3 into Mr. "Keythreestein."
I found it fairly easy to make s16 gate "visible" through a viewfinder.
All I need is a prism covering s16 area.
Plus, if the prism ...

The reason it is not as popular as 1x8s2 is probably the numbers.
They produced "only a little over 30 000 of them, vs. over 300 000 of 1x8s2.
...and off course the SOUND. Unbeatable. The advertising slogan shoud state: "scare your neighbours-get the loudest cam on earth "

. these are actually just the battery powered version on the wind up.
Not entirely true.
Some features are better, and some worse, comparing to 1xs82. (having both in my hands right now)
First of all the lense - it is 1,2/8-40 58 (1,8/9-38 46 on 1xs82 ). Looks like the brightest non removable lense ...

Nope...
It says on the camera: Bell&Howell and underneath: Canon. Both above the lense.
I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow and post here.

What is Bell&Howell-Canon DS8

I've spotted one of these sitting on a shelf in a local pawnshop.
It's a beauty and I'm trying to persuade the owner to sell it to me, but he won't :(
Looks like it's just been taken out of the box.

Can't find any info about it on the net though.
Any info anyone? Picture maybe?

it looks like ...

Wow!
Sound exactly like my cam - same model, same problem.
I bought it couple of months ago, and it also is missing a battery box, so unfortunately I cannot check if it works.

Would you be so kind and write how did you find-got battery box?

About an eyecup: I've got one spare.

Some more insight, since the movie is all strictly about FIMLING 8mm and 16mm. (unlike some threads in this forum ;))

As for girls and 8mm:

Or is it just another one of these urban legends.

Anyway, I found it here:
