Canon Autozoom 814 meter
Have been tinkering with a Canon Autozoom 814 that had some corrosion issues in the drive and meter battery compartments. I fixed the drive, but the meter is still dead. How hard is it to get inside one of these? Maybe I can re-wire it if the corrosion ran the wiring. I would hate to trash it, but I ...

Edwal vs. Filmrenew
I personally haven't used either but I have used a citrus cleaner called Goo Gone found at the local Wal-mart and have had no ill effects on the film whatsoever. It cleans the film great and then I go over it with a silicone cloth to lube it.

Kodak XL 320
Hi. I have had 6 of these and they ALL suffered the same fate. The plastic gear at the motor becomes soft over time and when it is used, it breaks and renders the camera useless. Had the design been better, I would still use these as they are unique looking but with the trouble I've had with them, I ...

Super 8 camera t-shirt
Hello everyone! I found a place in my home state of South Carolina that screen prints t-shirts and I saw one that had a Super 8 camera on it. I'm not sure what brand of camera it is but it still looks cool. I ordered one and am totally satisfied with it. If you want to look at it or place an order ...

You have got yourself one of the better cameras out there with this purchase. I,too, scan flea markets and thrift stores and find these gems. As far as getting to know your camera, look online and do a search for that camera model and include the word"manual" and see what comes up. Getting a manual ...

Sears C-131 fade controls
I have a Sears C-131 that has several controls on it and was wondering, when you use the fade button on these types of cameras, when you get your film back, is the fade complete to black or just close to it? I haven't run film in it yet but I wanted to know what to expect from this feature before I ...

Lemon Pledge?
Does this really work on lubing films and will it be safe? I know it would be a whole lot cheaper than the manufactured cleaners.

All of the colors showed up true. It amazed me also that the meter was showing that not enough light was there and it still took.

I had the filter in place. Didn't realize that I may have needed the extra light by displacing it, but it didn't matter. It turned out great with no color shift of any kind.
