I just ran across this vid online for the U.K. band Mohair. Good song. Check out the super 8 camera's, both in the frame and appears to be shot on also. K40 perhaps...

I checked self-taught. While I did get a degree in Media Production, most of the production classes were in video. I did take one 16mm class, but didn't shoot super 8 until after I graduated.

okay, sorry for the long delay. we want to make sure all the t's are crossed (so to speak) before we put out the call for submissions. while i can't say, exactly when the deadline will be... i'm am pretty sure that it probably will be sometime in june of '06, with the initial festival taking place ...

I'll third Lenny Lipton's books. I was perusing "Independent Filmmaking" just last night. "the Super 8 book" is also very good.
Two favs that i would add to the list... "essential brakhage" and "In the Blink of an Eye" - Walter Murch. Both are more asthetic than hands on info. I like to skim ...

No, you do not have to attend the festival. And the cool thing about this will be that if you can't, you can watch the live webcast of the "Filmshooting International Online Film Festival" (FIOFF). The fest may have it's own website down the line, but as this fest is directly tied to this website ...
