I really do like the Scoopic. From the test footage I've seen from Youtube, they look great. The 70-DR Filmos talk to me as well.

Just wonder, if anyone happened to know. If I did decide to sell the K-3 (i believe it is super 16mm)with the crystal sync unit, what would be a fair ballpark asking ...

Thanks for the replies guys.

Guess i will have to invest in one of those 12V battery belts. I would try the motorcycle battery trick, but would probably fry this guy.

Might be interested in trading the K-3 for a FIlmo 70 DR or even selling. I'm making the leap from Super 8 and want to proceed ...

Recently I picked up a K-3 with the Tobin TMX-D crystal drive. The problem is the crystal sync unit it missing the power supply and milliframe controller.

Could someone please tell me what I need to get to be able to start filming? I don' want to get the wrong power supply/controller and ...

Thank you for that detailed explanation. The 30m Lomo is a rarity unfortunately. I like the idea of the bucket technique. It's too bad a safe light cannot be used in handling of the film but I guess it something you get the hang of. I'm excited to try and process some. Not sure if it will be ...
