Thanks everyone... especially Roger for your detailed reply. That will really help with the post sync up.
I just need to figure out how to capture the audio. I don't have a sound projector (and have never owned one) so I'm not to hot on sound projectors and how they work... what's a good one to ...

Capturing Magnetic Super 8 Sound
Hi everyone
I've had some S8 sound film come in. It's the first sound film I've seen since I opened nearly 5 years ago so I guess it's something of a rarity. I just wondered if there is a simple way to capture the audio and sync it up to the images?

Re: 16mm Reversal Services
I'll give it a go when I next have a roll ready for a bath. How long do you reckon for turnaround ? I guess you have to wait for a certain number of rolls to arrive ? like your super-8 set-up. I sent you one of these once and was pleased with result.

Re: 16mm Reversal Services
Hi Doug,
We've actually been told by Richard at Nano lab we don't have to lose that frame at all. Basically we cut the film in the middle, splice a bit of leader to the none emulsion side and then load the tank. After both sides are processed we simply splice both ends together. Keeping that middle ...

I'd love to get my hands on one to do a review.
For that price and the professional camera tag I'd expect an EVF and some built in ND's to be honest.

16mm Reversal Services
After calling around trying to get some 16mm reversal processed it became immediately apparent that nobody is really doing it anymore. Well not in the UK anyway. All labs I tried to contact either didn't pick up the phone, didn't message back or if they did message back required a minimum order of ...

16mm processing prices
Hi all,
As previously mentioned we'll be moving into 16mm processing soon. It's a little ways off yet as we're still building the 8mm negative side of things but I'm hoping 16mm processing will be underway by March. I'll be hand processing 100ft rolls and I'm wondering if you kind folks could ...

Hi Roger,
I actually have a G-RAID sitting idle on my desk from my Mac days. I'll give it a go! Thanks Roger, perfect solution!

Can I get my WorkprinterHD to work on a 64bit system?
Hi everyone,
As you may well know we've had our WorkprinterHD for approaching 2 years now (next April) and we've altered it to the extent that it stopped being a Workprinter a long time ago. Actually I would say it out scans a Sniper now since we can use purely optical zoom from our camera. I'm ...

Re: Film Footage Counter
Hi guys,
Just an update... I won an Erno 8mm film counter on eBay and it arrived today... to my suprise it does both Double and Super 8! You can check it out on my facebook page.
I'll definitely contact Parallaxe about the 16mm frame counter as well.
Thanks
Kevin

Hi Julian,
Sorry for the radio silence. That looks pretty perfect. Do you know if it'll do both Super 8 and Double 8?
Best

Re: Film Footage Counter
Wow, great response here! Thanks everyone.
Currently the system I have is getting the customer to tell me how many small and big reels of film they have. I also ask them if the reels in question are full, half full... etc. Then I can give them a rough quote, usually pricing a touch on the higher ...
