Quarz Light Meter
Just got a new, in-the-box Quarz 1x8S-2 camera
I have loaded a pair of 625 cells, but can't figure out from the German manual that came with it if I am supposed to see anything in the aperture scale window when the light meter is on 'Auto'

Re: Sekonic CP77 Projector problem
Thanks for the quick responses.
Sekonic projectors also carried the name COPAL, so perhaps that's what makes them hard to find. I wasn't aware that they made projectors until just a few years ago, but a quick search here for Sekonic and you get 320 results... mostly for the light meters, but it's ...

Sekonic CP77 Projector problem
Since buying this projector (sight unseen... an eBay delight) I have replaced the bulb and belt and oiled or greased everything I could find.
Problem is a noise related to the power supply. As soon as I plug it in, it starts a loud buzzing sound. This happens even when everything is shut off ...

Re: Who here has filed projector gates wider and higher?
interesting elmo you have... what model is it? I don't remember any prism that affected colors, but I mostly shoot and project tri-x anyway.
regarding the corners, they are decidedly NOT sharp right angles, but on the super-8 they always seem to be kind of rounded off anyway. Biggest problem for ...

Re: How can I get tire goo off a film?
Try PEC-12. Works great on all oil-based (i.e. fingerprints, etc.) residue and is archival-safe.

Re: Who here has filed projector gates wider and higher?
I have done it on an Elmo FP-C super 8 projector. I wouldn't say I was 100% successful since it was my first attempt, but it did achieve the desired result of allowing me to see the ENTIRE image - and a bit more! Now you can see the edge of the sprocket hole as well as the bottom of the preceding ...

Re: My processing adventures
congratulations Pav. this is something that I have been interested in for quite awhile since I also teach film processing, have a Jobo ATL and am planning to start processing E6 as well as black and white reversal.
I can't seem to find your photos, however. Can you put up a new link?

Re: Bauer A512: variable shutter and exposure
Does the automatic exposure system may be changed (by changing the internal settings of potentiometers) to make it compatible with the film Ektachrome 100D?
