Thank you Wade. I happen to run across John from Digitech Camera Repair in Monrovia, CA and he is taking care of the camera right now. He is being very nice and honest. So I am just hoping for the best.

Service for Leicina Super RT1

My Leicina stopped working... The zoom and the automatic exposure still run fine but when I press the release button nothing happens.

I was wondering if any of you guys can recommend a place where to take this camera for service preferably in the US area (Los Angeles) although I am open to send it ...

So there are no internal filters then? it just changes the aperture to compensate? Do you see the aperture changing on your viewfinder?

Regarding to the mount base, I actually didn't realize that it might work that way, I will definitely try it.
