Well, I calculated it was 1/15 th. So, there will be some smearing, especially with moving objects. I think I will go with negative film in stead of reversal.. Thanks for the respond.

As this depends on your camera (shutter angle, ...), I would take a look into the manual instead of guessing. :wink:

Would any external hard disk with 7200 RPS and usb interface do for video editing? Which one would you advise?

I have to make a short from a cafe on super 8, and, since i Think he wants reversal, I intend to shoot 100 asa stock in 9fps . Which should give me shutter time of 1/15th. But, does this lead to smearing?
