Re: processing labs in UK
Anyone know of a UK lab who process Fomapan R double 8
I'd like to know this. I've some Foma DS8 to shoot as well. And some 16mm.
And while I'm at it is there anywhere in UK processing 35mm stills on Foma in Foma developers. I presume their Czech shop is still going?

They are used to exporting taxfree.

Re: canon af310xl - any good?
problem with mine was i was projecting at small size and it looked fine - if you want any decent sized image it doesn't look good though.
i found the AF fine. We had a discussion on here about AF super 8 cams as i assumed the AF system might be a work in progress. But I found the AF including the ...

Re: canon af310xl - any good?
there was some mixing of cams in that orig post ie photo is of non AF version, talk is of AF version.
the original 310 xl is excellent - decent lens, well made
the AF version has a poor lens [i wouldn't buy another for that reason alone] and, as has been said, an awful battery compartment [mine ...

Re: Kodak M4, E64T and E100D
Nick,
Thanks. I understand now. I'll try a mix of 2/3 over and proper exposed just to see how it looks. I'm not a fan of E100D on what I've see online. But the 2/3 over is an interesting experiment, I think.

Re: tri-x, leicina, wide angle lens
the last thing i want is tricky focus with my aging eyes!
I remember using a Nizo 156 macro with a Schneider W/A. Awful to focus. It had to be EXACT. I never did get it right. I wasn't upset when it seemingly scratched itself!
Were you using a 10mm at one time [Cinegon?]

Re: Kodak M4, E64T and E100D
Nick,
Thanks. I didn't know E100D will overexpose 2/3 automatically. I've not used it before. I'll try some out and see how it looks.
I didn't quite grasp your last bit. If I put the key in [which I have but have never used] it'll expose correctly? What about color casts?

Kodak M4, E64T and E100D
I always had a love/hate relationship with E64T. Loved the grain sometimes. Hated it others. Often both within the same scene. I was using a Nautica.
Then I saw some footage shot in a Kodak M4 which I think overexposed E64T automatically by 2/3. It looked great. Just what I needed. I loved the ...
