Hi everyone
What would be the better choice for super8 in-door studio filming?
red-head lights or Blondes?

Re: Elmo 612s-XL and stop motion.....
Hi
I looked at your youtube footage and looks superb.
I'm planning on doing some close up animation with modeling clay puppets. what is the minimum distance the lens can focus to? 5ft less than 5ft?

Elmo 612s-XL and stop motion.....
Hi there
I have an Elmo 612s-XL super 8 camera that I've had for quite some time but never used it.
It has three filming speeds 1 18 and 24
I just want to confirm that the 1 setting is ok for stop frame animation?
also - is the supermag400 still available? I've noticed the site is down

Hey Rich,
Depending on what your cams are you might want to check out the Century Precision Optics Matte Boxes. Their not particularly cheap, about $350, but they are about the least expensive that I have found. I use the FH44-00, which fits my wide adapter on my PD-150 as well as the Canon C-8 ...

hi....
hi
here is a link to a good site to introduce you to 8mm film
http://homepage.mac.com/onsuper8/
you could use a video camera to record the sound and synch it up later - but I personally would prefer to use a minidisc or a DAT recorder
