My K3 came with one... a black plastic one that fits perfectly. I'd say it's an original part, as it has the company (Zenit?) logo etched onto it.

I'm not sure what you could use as a replacement. I have a bottle of Mount Franklin water sitting next to me, and the lid is only marginally bigger than ...

Though I had my suspicions, I was quite happy to believe that the clip was real. Alas:

Just to clarify your 'point 2' from the test thread, not all, but most 40/160 cameras are able to read 100d stock acurately.
The critical factor is whether the camera has a filter notch sensor. If it does, then the 40/160 camera is really a 40t(25d)/160t(100d) camera.

Try calling Kodak Australia's motion picture department on 1300 139 795. At one point they were offering the neg stocks for $27.50ea in lots of 20. Maybe they can still organise that. (In fact, maybe they will sell them in smaller lots, now that they are also willing to bring in Plus-X in lots of 5 ...

WRT added features, the "negative art" picture effect on the Sony VX2000 performs the identical task as inverting the image in Premiere Pro - no difference. On top of that, "Custom Preset" can be up on the LCD screen for white balance adjustment on the fly...pretty sweet!

I think if you're going to sacrifice the 'instant recognition' factor of an existing logo- as Kodak pretty much have- you should at least replace it with something fresh, modern and cutting-edge. This new logo is bland, unattractive and dated-looking.

However, if you use standins before hiring the "real" actors, it may be cost effective but the actors are going to hate it, I can guarantee you.
As would the stand-ins, I imagine, unless they were paid professionals.

I haven't seen any discussions here about Kodak's new logo, which I think was introduced a couple of months ago. Check it out at their website, if you haven't already.

What do y'all think of it? Personally, I'm not a fan of it at all.

Heh, I've just moved quite a bit of my film 'hoard' to my freezer in the last couple of days. So I'm keen to see where this discussion goes.

Most of it is fresh 16mm colour negative- although there is some Super8 reversal in there as well (K40, E64T, Plus-X)- and has been in my fridge for 3-6 ...
