that film is great! one question and its a stupid one....to all of you who know this please help me understand something i don't. How do you get the fast motion? Is is a slower fps? and how many fps? just wondering i'm kinda new to this stuff and would really like to know. Its greatly appreciated.

I have been recording on DAT for quite some time now. I've work in feild recording for over 5 years.

About the projector being "old" it is infact a very old super8 projector, I bought it for like 5 bucks still in the box with the feature tag on it and every thing. It looks like no one ever opened ...

I actually like werid things with films, but it bothers me when a movie takes place in the 60's and has a 70's vw or something like that. It ticks me off. I kinda like the "3 stooges" type splicing it doesn't bother me.

Whats normal speed with sound or dubbing over with sound? In other word if i shoot something and want to dub voices in what would be the best speed to shoot in? Cause on my Canon 1014xl manual it says to film in 24fps when sound is being added, but it runs too slow...so 18 fps is normal speed, as to ...

It's a Bell+Howell Autoload, no speeds just Fwrd, Reverse and still nothing more. Thanks

So if my projector "normal speed" is 18fps, and I have film shot in 24fps, most likey it is shown in "slow motion"? So normal speed is 18 fps?

Hey hey hey,
I've got a few questions, I got some old movie fil and I don't know what its shot on, but lets just say its shot at 24fps, is this normal speed? Cause I put them in my Bell + Howell projector and the thing is so slow like alsmost slow motion. Does this mean its shot at 18fps or is it ...

Well I noticed now that this site offers a few places that process B+W reversal and Kodachrome40. Thanks for the help! I'll be posting on here more often this is the first time I knew of a comunity of super8 shooters.

I have a couple "Kodak Plus-X reversal Film" B+W
And Kodachrome40, now I don't think Here in Philadelphia that wal-mart will develope Super8 film. I would rather prefer someone with better knowledge then a bunch of crazy high school kids not giving a hoot about there jobs. I live in Philadelphia ...

Help needed

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can lead me to a developer for super8 reversal and Kodachrome 40 film on the east coast USA? I live in pennsylvania and I have a boat load of film but no one will develope it.
Any Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
