Filmshooting

I usually buy it at Ted's Cameras on Pitt St Sydney - it's in the back fridge. They're fairly cheap and sell Ektachrome and Tri X as well as Kodachrome k40 (if they're out, try fletchers down the road- a little more expensive)...

Sometimes I go to Sound Vision Stock shop in St Leonards, good prices ...

So would you consider them a fairly essential item if you were making a feature film (on 8mm or any other format) ?

Most pro productions seem to use them...
