The sound shouldn't sound like chipmunks unless you are not adding in frames to bring it to 29.97fps. If this is the case, and you want to change the pitch rather than change the frame rate of the video, I'd recommend buying an old version 4e of Sony Vegas. It does a good job of "preserving pitch ...

yes it does exist. Thats how I adjust projector speed. Most industrial suppliers have them. You just put a small amount of reflective tape on a shutter and point at it with the meter led.

They are often referred to as a photo tach.... :)

just as a follow up....I recieved the music from http://www.bigdogmusicdesign.com/ It certainly fits the bill for my needs. I don't have the time or patience to create my own, so the price and selection is very appealing.

hi scottbobo2

I think it would depend on the source of the video. If it comes from the use of a DV camera, its already been compressed to the DV format before its saved. Storing it uncompressed would make no sense (too large). Its already lost a small amount of detail when it was created. If you ...

mattias, you are right, not all people have bad projectors, but most of my business is from people who do. I see lots of damaged film. Its sad, cause in a lot of causes, its too late. I do come on strong because I been exposed to my relatives damaged film treasures and it hits home on a personal ...

I had trouble with Sony white balance as well. Try using a warmer light source. The Sony I used had no manual white balance. I eventually switched to a total manual capable canon....

doesn't work. it doesn't show but it's still there, which of course is an even bigger problem for the user who tries to navigate and the cursor suddenly disappears off screen

This has never been an issue for me. I don't like a motion menu obscured when the menu comes up. What I do is simply label ...

I think it will even out last cd's and dvd's...

I've been doing some old film transfers. Lots of burns, cracked sprocket holes, bad splices and poor storage lend to severe film damage from people running their precious films with their old dried up projectors. Once there gone, there gone ...

Well, I think I found a viable solution. Finally, royalty free music for a reasonable price. After searching on the net and Ebay I stumbled across Bigdog music http://www.bigdogmusicdesign.com/

Leroy has been extremely helpful in selecting the right music for my application. I don't have to ...

Depends on what you want for a final result. So far, the equipment you describe will give you less than desireable results in my mind. Anything less than frame capturing (as in the Filmstuff workprinter) is a waste of time. The best that you can expect with your setup will be flickers and hotspots ...

To get rid of the "play" button, simply go to the edit menu screen and shrink its size by dragging its corner. Then just pull it of to the side. It will totaly hide in the overscan. It does do PCM and AC3. It also has the best burning engine I've seen.
