The sound shouldn't sound like chipmunks unless you are not adding in frames to bring it to 29.97fps. If this is the case, and you want to change the pitch rather than change the frame rate of the video, I'd recommend buying an old version 4e of Sony Vegas. It does a good job of "preserving pitch ...

just as a follow up....I recieved the music from http://www.bigdogmusicdesign.com/ It certainly fits the bill for my needs. I don't have the time or patience to create my own, so the price and selection is very appealing.

mattias, you are right, not all people have bad projectors, but most of my business is from people who do. I see lots of damaged film. Its sad, cause in a lot of causes, its too late. Depends on what you want for a final result. So far, the equipment you describe will give you less than desireable results in my mind. Anything less than frame capturing (as in the Filmstuff workprinter) is a waste of time. The best that you can expect with your setup will be flickers and hotspots ...
