All went well at the premiere! the sound was good. All but a 2 minor off axis moments, otherwise the audio was great (if i do say so myself).

We had about 350-500 people including some press and sales seemed brisk. Almost exactly a year between the first day of shooting to premiere. All done now ...

Thanks everyone. It was the first feature length project that I was involved in and it all went well. The entire crew was great to work with.

I was a sound mixer for a feature film last year and just got word that we won Best Feature Film at the WYSIWYG Festival in San Fransicso....
I even made it to IMDB.com!!!

Not bad for a super8er....

A view camera has more technical movements than a field camera. Like the older Graflex cameras. The Crown Graphic is a limited press camera with forward tilt, drop bed and a few other nice touches. But this camera would not be the best camera for architecture, you would need a technical camera.

You can however design a hard matt using the behind the lens filter.
Although this may not be super 16, you can control the aspect ratio somewhat.

There was still a demand for non-reflex Bolex cameras as late as 1965. Bolex
decided to release the H16S; w/a flat base and all the features of the RX4 without the variable shutter. I guess cinematographers wanted to have a better choice of lenses and not be confined to the RX needed for reflex ...

Reading that a Canon Scoopic was part of the tools for Cinderella Man, I had to check it out. Use of pushed Ektachrome made this part of the film disappoiting. But what can you expect from a high budget film. Still, they did use a Scoopic and my question is for those who saw the film, was the ...
