qualex sucks

I sent two K40 rolls in mailers off to fair lawn. Two weeks later I get one back with a letter that it's messed up. Almost every frame is scratched. They promise me a fresh roll of K40 and two free prepaid mailers. I finally got my second roll back, apparently no problems, but I haven't seen it so I ...

That luxiourousity is just a rebadged version of Audacity, which is free. Google for it (I think it's on sourceforge, but I'm lazy). It's a pretty good program.

Seems to me to be a terrible idea since the resolution of the QX3 is only 320X240.

New Cart Design?

I read on a thread previously (I think it was one referring to the new Vision2 stock) that an individual had spoken to Kodak and Kodak had said that the stock would be delayed because of cartridge issues. I assume the idea is that Kodak would make a more stable cart so that DPs who choose to shoot ...

Anyway, with a 4008 you need to pull the "trigger" only once to convince most "people" it is not a terrorist gun or an information sampler for terror planning. Who on earth would use a big NOISY S8 cam for that?

Here in the USA, if you were to pull a "trigger" you'd most likely wind up in a pool ...

Pretty simply the K3 is manual, only takes 100 ft. daylight spools, and only can run for about 25-30 seconds on a single wind. That being said, the stock lens that comes with it is pretty fast and has a nice zoom range and is sharp considering the price. Sync sound is not available, unless you ...

http://www.triggerstreet.com allows one to post a screenplay and receive criticism, although I think you have to review a certain number yourself before you're allowed to post yours. Also, http://www.wordplayer.com has some good information as well as a pretty active forum. Good luck.

So basically, 2 carts of Super 8 50D, (100ft.) are going to run you $70 but the same quantity, that is, one 100' daylight spool of 7245, is going to run you $48.

I think your math is a little fuzzy here. With those 2 carts of S8 you end up with about 5 minutes of footage, whereas ...

K-3 cameras are great learning tools. They come with very good lenses and are usually pretty reliable. Would I film something with them? Depends what it is. Maybe B-roll stuff. When I used one in college I enjoyed it, but they are very loud and obviously non-sync. There is a yahoo group if you want ...

Since it records directly to DVD disks and is playable in a standard DVD player, this means that the recording format is subject to the limitations of the DVD standard - MPEG2 and bitrate under 8000k/s (approximately, can't remember specific). Overall this will yield a significantly lower quality ...
