Woops, I had not heard about the new vision 2 50D (7201). If that is the stock that you are talking about then I agree it should be much finer grain than the 100T and would be a much better choice. Of course I would also really like to see 100T in super8.

I havn't tested it myself but I have heard some people say that 100asa Vision 2 has less grain than 50D does. If this is the case I might be me interested in seeing V2 100 instead of 50D. Just a thought.

I would love to get something similar to this. Not for use on a Leicina but for use with other cameras such as my Filmo(16mm) and if it is calibrated accurately then I would like to use it for colimating lenses.

I would love to be able to remove the filters but unfortunately the camera wasn't really designed to work that way. When you remove the filters it changes the optical distance between the lens and film plane but not the distance between the lens and the ground glass. In order to fix this you have to ...

Thanks for the advice. I am currently thinking that I will try to remove the old filters and glue new ones in place. either just UV or UV and 85b. My only real concern is with the thickness of the filter. Will all wratten filters have the same thickness as the origional one?

I have a beaulieu with filters that are in really bad shape. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement filter tray with clean filters for a reasonable price? Or does anyone know how to go about replacing the filters?

I wish there was a way to remove the filters without taking the lens to film ...

I have shot a decent amount of stuff on various Bolexs and a filmo DL. They both have pros and cons but I would personally recomend buying a Filmo DL or later.

I have about 10 rolls of K40 in the fridge and freezer. I also have some soon to be discontinued Ektachrome and some of the old Plus-X and Tri-X. I really need to get around to shooting this stuff before it is a pain to process.

I have used Cosmicar 12.5mm lenses on 16mm and Super16 cameras. These are cheap surplus CCTV lenses. In Super16 they have a little bit of vigneting when you stop down all the way but besides that they work great. They are cheap lenses so they aren't the sharpest, but they get the job done ...

Will most likely work on most electronic cameras. There is a chance of some not having a pot in which case you could probably replace the right resistor with one. What did you use to measure the speed? I have contemplated opening up my Canon 310XL to do this.
