As nobody has answering earlier, I will try to explain.
Adjustments for backfocus on this Angenieux lens, is made by changing the thin aluminium distance ring between the part that holds the C-mount tread and lens body to a ring with right thickness.

As I told, the claw relese solenoid use sometime be "sticky" and will not work. Clean it. It use to be some oil/grease inside it which stop the movement. It must be dry.

As Richard earlier have told, the shutter will always run in an constant speed of 24f/sec. The claw are stopped from entering into film by a solenoid when runing on lower frame rate than 24 and only "release" when need. This solenoid can sometime be "dirty" and not move fast enough. This is not a original Beaulieu part. It´s mostly common in US but rare in EU.
I don´t have this in stock, it was long time sice it was produced in US.

Filter size for Angenieux 1,9/8-64 for all 2008S are for 46,5mm screw on filters. The lenshood for this lens was a one pice part. If filter was used, lenshood had to be fit in front of this filter.

Tread size in front of the Angenieux 1,9/8-64 is 46,5mm.
