Re: collimating Angenieux-Zoom

As nobody has answering earlier, I will try to explain.
Adjustments for backfocus on this Angenieux lens, is made by changing the thin aluminium distance ring between the part that holds the C-mount tread and lens body to a ring with right thickness.

A cleaning of ...

This is not a original Beaulieu part. It´s mostly common in US but rare in EU.
I don´t have this in stock, it was long time sice it was produced in US.

The only difference is the gold plated "B" logotype on left side of camera, otherwise it´s exactly the same camera.
This "Gold camera" was a special Ritter celebration thing. I have a few of this special gold "B" cameras in stock.

It more looks like a power problem, in combination with bad contacts inside camerabody and/or high power consumption from sticky shutter/claw mechanism and motor.

On pictures I have seen in the past, this camera used a 60m sound cartrige. This 60m soundmag had it´s bottom to the filmgate. Pressureplate was in the opening for the recordinghead.
Today, no 60m soundfilm.

This is the last version of R16 before 2016.
It has a flash socket contact and a different motorgear, that will lower the "noise" from mechanism/motor.

3008 used 7,2V 250mA/h cells as it was a "low budget" camera.
To all 5008 cameras it was used 7,2V 500mA/h cells. You can use this 5008 batteries for 3008 cameras, without any problem.
