Yep, I made the exact same mistake when I purchased a wide 28mm lens.
It seems that the best wide lens for the K-3 is the Peleng 8mm (f3.5). Do a google search for it and you will find a few places that stock it. Although it is often seen on UK Ebay for £99 which is very cheap!
Thanks for the info, looks like it's back to ebay for a 10mm (or less). Still, it's a very nice lens, beautiful colors compared to the Meteor lens that comes with the K-3. (Can't beat Jap optics :) )
