Filmshooting

Apart from places like lomography and freestyle photographic, there isn't too much interest in 35mm anymore.
The lenses are a different story as people buy old cameras these days for the lenses.

Update: I sent the 7008 to Bjorn. Cost about $400 with lens columination and adding a crystal sync module I bought from from witner, not including shipping.
Bjorn did a wonderful job. Much less than what pro 8 offered.
The unscrupulous seller didn't included the original crystal module.

I had some 16mm kodak vision 3 re perforated to 8mm use.
Im finding labs are charging more to process for 25' rolls of double 8mm than 100' of 16mm. Anyone know of a decent lab in the states that doesn't have this price reflectivity. or should I just process this my self?

Not sure about use it lose it.
Unless you meant ordering ektachrome when one day Kodak stops making it.
Lps came back. Perhaps some people think of super 8 as the epitmy of 70s culture with 8 tracks and leisure suits.
If and when Kodak releases ektachrome in 16mm, there will be more semi pros and ...

Kodak must be selling the ektachrome in higher quantities to the film stores.
If they put Kodak movie film in department stores or chains, their sales might improve and the price might drop.
Most people might think the film is not not produced any more.

Based on the receipt, they are $12+ a roll?
With Columbia college in the area, and the shop being downtown, there is enough support for this place.

colors look great.
cant quite tell if the registration issue is in the camera or telecine.

5 cart max on ordering. $40 each. nice to have ektachrome colour reversal back but you cant even shoot a feature with that amount.

Most of the tobin telecine machines use the imaging sources cameras.
It comes with free capture software.
I dont know, however, if there is a trigger on the tobin machine or camera that captures the image at each frame or film chain capture.

Seems like a long time from announcement to release of the new ektachrome, but I actually hope kodak takes their time with this to get it right. how many movie film prints from the 60s' and 70s are color faded now or have some sort of vinegar syndrome?

Anyone know what the mm size thread on the handle for the battery is on a beaulieu 5008 or 3008?
I'm going to make my own battery grip.
