I really don't get the appeal of Facebook. Supposedly, Facebook has been the reason behind many online forums becoming less active over the years. As for me, I prefer forums.

With many super 8 projector designs, I believe that you can remove the gate for cleaning and maintenance. Out of curiosity, can the pressure plate be removed too? My projectors are not like that. With mine, the lens swings out to the side to provide access to the gate.

Overall, I'm happy with the results except for the slightly unsteady picture. I'm not really sure if the fault is with the camera or the transfer. I used a tripod for all filming. Previously, I used the same camera at a wedding and footage from that shoot appeared steadier.

I'm generally happy with the depiction of motion in the footage. Looks smooth enough to my eyes in most instances. Thanks for the good words, Charlie. And it's good that you're going to shoot that 500T! I admit that I drew inspiration myself from city night scenes in movies like Taxi Driver and Midnight Cowboy.
