not sure if this helps you or not freya, but there is an OSX driver for the miro dc30 card. Maybe it would work for the dc20, then you can have the best of both worlds, (osx and cheap analogue capture)

Transferring negative stocks may take a little experimenting, but results can be good, I xfer 200t on my workprinter all the time. Whitebalance on the empty orange frames at the beginning of your roll. Then invert in your NLE and use various color correcting filters to get the look you want. In ...

A couple of things, its widely expected that there will be an update to FCP HD At NAB (april 18th) so if you can hold out for a couple weeks, it may be in your interest to do so.

how about some specifics, what version of FCP, what version of OSX what kind of machine, hard drive, ram etc?

Konton,

I have been struggling with that too with my WPxp (light/ halation on the side of the frame seeming to originate from the sprocket hole). Any ideas how to solve it?
